Vincent Boschma (Amsterdam,The Netherlands / 1976) dedicates his time to media and installation work, video and painting. In earlier work, he opened the composition to a process of external influences and chance, which expanded in structural and site specific activities. The main concern were its transformations, installed on the surface of time and what marks were left behind. His site-specific installation works sought to comment on the perception of our environment, which is constantly being molded and invited the absent-minded, hypnotic relation to it into a conscious and critical public discourse. His many interests and themes and what can be called artistic realizations have often found wider links within his work and world adoption sometimes years later. His work is defined by and at the same time filled with the transitory nature of things while he plays with using its limitations and failures.
